The Type B Mom's Guide to Getting Her Life Together

If you've ever bought a planner, started a routine, and given up three days later, welcome.

This blog is for the Type B moms, the hot mess moms, and the moms whose brains never seem to stop running.

Here you'll find simple productivity systems, flexible routines, decluttering tips, and real-life strategies that help you get organized without becoming a Type A mom.

Because you don't need more motivation.
You need a system that works for your life.

Let’s be real: “back to school bliss” sounds fake.

Because when the backpacks, forms, and after-school chaos hit—moms everywhere are secretly crying into their coffee.

But here’s the truth: you don’t need a perfect planner, a Pinterest-level lunchbox, or a color-coded calendar to survive this season. You just need five tiny wins.
That’s it. Five days. Five little shifts that help you feel less frazzled and more like a mom who actually has it (mostly) together.

Welcome to the Back to School Bliss 5-Day Challenge.

What the 5-Day Challenge Is (and Isn’t)

This is NOT:
❌ A strict schedule that makes you feel guilty when life happens
❌ A 4 a.m. miracle morning routine
❌ Another to-do list that adds to your mental load

This IS:
✅ Bite-sized wins you can do in 10 minutes or less
✅ Tools to make mornings smoother and evenings calmer
✅ A way to reset without becoming a “school mom robot”

It’s about proving to yourself that you don’t need to overhaul your entire life to feel in control again—you just need to start small.

Here’s Your 5-Day Preview

Day 1: Mindset Reset

We start with the most important piece: your brain. Instead of carrying the “mental load” of everything (forms, sports schedules, snacks, laundry, oh my)—we’ll get it out of your head and into a simple system. Think of it as closing all the tabs running in your brain.

Day 2: Morning Made Easy

No, you don’t have to wake up at 5 a.m. But you do need a reset that actually works for your season. We’ll set up a simple, repeatable morning rhythm so you’re not screaming “PUT YOUR SHOES ON” five days a week.

Day 3: Home Hacks

A few tiny tweaks around the house can make a huge difference. Think family command center, backpack drop zone, and a no-brainer snack station. (Because searching for lost permission slips at 7:30 a.m. is the actual worst.)

Day 4: Routine Refresh

This isn’t about strict schedules—it’s about flexible structure. We’ll set up a system that gives you breathing room while still keeping everyone on track. Yes, even your Type B, “I’ll do it later” self can handle this.

Day 5: The Reset Button

We finish with a reset routine you can repeat anytime life gets messy (vacations, sick kids, forgotten homework). You’ll learn how to bounce back instead of spiraling into chaos.

ABOUT ME

So who is this Productivity Diva?

Hey hey, I’m DaVette 🤍—mom of 3, wife, and a former hot mess express who could not stick to a routine to save her life. I tried everything—planners, apps, waking up earlier—and nothing stuck. My brain felt like 47 tabs open, I was constantly overwhelmed, and I was snapping way more than I wanted to. Honestly, I started to believe I just wasn’t the kind of mom who could “have it together.”

After 6+ years as a health and wellness coach (and deep in my own postpartum mom brain era), I realized something huge: everyone tells moms what to do—but no one shows us how to make it work in real life… with kids, chaos, and zero uninterrupted time. So I stopped trying to force systems that weren’t built for me and created one that actually worked with my mom brain.

Now, I help moms do the same—build simple habits that stick, create time for themselves, and feel calmer, more present, and in control (without becoming a type A robot). Everything inside my courses, planners, and tools comes from what I needed when I was in survival mode—so you can stop feeling like a hot mess and start feeling like the mom you know you can be.
